Just a little note to say “Thanks!” to all my Brother Knights who helped out at the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary parish Harvest Festival on Saturday, October 5, 2013. We sold out of our Rib Dinners. It was a great success. We had Knights that were cutting ribs, we had Knights that were serving the dinners, we had Knights that were taking tickets. Brother Carl Curry was cooking chicken pretty much the whole day. It was a beautiful day; we had a great time. The kids were all out at the festival. We had a covered wagon with two horses. It was a really cool, western feel. Thanks again for all your support, for everyone who was there, however long you stayed. It was well appreciated, and it was just nice to see the guys all together. That’s what the Knights are all about, doing something together as a group of men who love Jesus, to further the cause of Christianity.

Just a bit of a note about Ministry Sunday, October 6, 2013. Thanks so much to Sean Tsui and Kareem Abagi who manned the Knights of Columbus awning, which we don’t have up too often. I believe we had four new sign-ups that day, and just a ton of interest. So that was a big success too.

So, keep up the good work, and I’ll be with you all.
